CUET 2022: Marking Scheme
NTA has finally confirmed the CUET Exam Pattern & marking scheme for the upcoming exam in July. As per the official CUET notification, for every correct attempt, 5 marks will be awarded. For every incorrect attempt, 1 mark will be deducted. There will be no penalty for unattempt questions.

CUET 2022 Syllabus | Section-wise Syllabus for CUET 2022
Before you start your preparation for CUET 2022, it is important to understand the CUET syllabus. Otherwise, your prep will be directionless, and you might be left wondering where things might have gone wrong!
With more than 1.68 lakh seats on offer for undergraduate courses at the 54 Central Universities, CUET is one of the most competitive examinations. CUET Syllabus for Language Test
The students’ fluency in the language is to be tested through questions asked in Reading Comprehension (based on different types of passages–Factual, Literary and Narrative [Literary Aptitude & Vocabulary]. The languages included in Section 1A and 1B respectively are as mentioned below:
Section 1 A: English; Hindi; Gujarati; Bengali; Assamese, Kannada; Tamil; Telugu; Malayalam; Marathi; Odia & Urdu.
Section 1 B: Chinese, German, French, Arabic, Italian, Japanese, Nepali,
Russian, Spanish, Tibetan, Dogri, Bodo, Kashmiri, Konkani, Maithili, Manipuri, Santhali and Sindhi
CUET Syllabus for Domain Subject
As per the NCERT model, the CUET syllabus for the domain-specific paper is the same as for Class XII. It means that your NCERT books will be the best source of preparation for the domain-specific paper. One can choose from the following subjects for the domain-specific paper. The candidates may choose a maximum of 6 Subjects from the below-mentioned list.

The General Aptitude Test (GA) is the section III of CUET paper and will comprise of the following sections:

CUET Colleges and CUET Universities 2022
In a move that could be a potential game-changer for higher education in India, the government has recommended conducting a Common University Entrance Test (CUET). There are more than 80 universities and colleges from the academic session 2022-2023. This may come as a surprise to many, but the move aimed at reducing the pressure of higher cut-offs in most of the reputed central universities has been in the talks for a long time now. However, the National Education Policy (NEP), which aims to bring radical changes to the education set up in the country, paved the way for the Common Entrance Test.
There are 45 Central Universities in India at the moment including the University of Delhi (DU), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), etc.
